The science of the art of capoeira

Folha Seca Helicoptero

It's a combination of three difficult movements all done in a single jump - and you would need to have them all down pat before even thinking about this one. Folha Seca Parafuso which is a twisting one legged somersault combines with Au Helicoptero, which is a cartwheel where you switch your legs around. As if Folha Seca Parafuso wasn't hard enough already! I can't find where I recorded this guy's name but as you can see he is very talented young guy. Folha Seca is more usually called Kick the Moon in English, a direct translation of its other capoeira name, Chuta na Lua. Folha Seca means - dry leaf, Parafuso means - screw, Helicoptero means - you guessed it!
