Capoeira videos/ site loading slow?

Since I uploaded the Folha Seca video tutorial yesterday the site started to slow down for me. Can I hear back from you guys how the videos are loading now and if site performance is ok or too slow? Meanwhile I've been researching the options on high quality video streaming since January. It all takes work and money though so it would be good to have as much information as possible before I commit to that process.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hola!, primero que nada dejame felicitarte por tu GRAN trabajo, de verdad estoy muy agradecido y admirado por lo que has hecho.
Mira, el video de la Folha Seca, se ve lento porque es MUY BUENA la calidad del video.
Si quieres mandame un mensaje y te puedo mandar unos programas para "achicar" la resolución del video. Con eso bastara para que se vean mucho mas rápidos ;).
Ok, dejame felicitarte nuevamente por tu trabajo amigo, sigue así!!!

Watch the video of the Folha Seca, is slow because it is VERY GOOD video quality.
If you want to send me a message and I can send some programs to "shrink" the resolution of the video. That's enough to make them look much faster;).

FIXED - Video is now fast as!!

FIXED - Video is now fast as!!I'm sure you're all going to see the video loading a lot faster now as I have crushed it by around 10 times its previous size. I have opted for mp4 h.264 compression as it offers MUCH better video quality than flash at lower file sizes.

Pretty soon fast is going to become ridiculously fast as I am integrating with a CDN to bring you RTMP streaming from edge locations around the globe. I'm, also working to integrate variable speed playback so you can watch the capoeira clips back to front and at quarter speed. Capoeira Science, ne.

Thanks for replying. I have sent a message to your email. If you can offer compression help then that is what I need right now. I have other videos waiting to go up but I need to get them downsized without impacting quality too much.

bite size videos

Yo ...

AHhhh was excited to check out your vid... get going on the Folha
Seca!!! ha haa...BUT it was taking ages to stream.. we dont have a super
amazing connection here, but it's not bad either (around 60kp/s)..so i couldnt understand what was going on..

Then I noticed it is a whopping 280 mb (was going to take me and hour to stream and watch it), a 5 min video should be 15 - 20 mb no? Can you make it smaller, or give the user the option to
watch a lower quality, i guess you sacrifice the quality but then we
get to watch it over and over n over... and maybe a bit more 'til we
get the move!

It is looking super great tho.... ur so good for these things,
explaining, breaking things down...

hope it's easy to fix this... if i get any ideas how to compress will let u know..
