For our second capoeira move tutorial allow me to introduce Instrutor Tico as he takes us step by step through Piao de mao, otherwise known as Handspin.

In capoeira, Tico's hanspin is unrivalled, he gets 3 or 4 rotations in a blindingly fast time, thanks to his flawless technique - which he shares with you here.

Piao de mao is fun to learn and looks great. Capoeira Mestres have been doing this movement for years and Tico's three spin refinement is just one variation on a much loved capoeira move that you can see Angoleiros rocking in old black and white clips. Pay attention to the video to learn Tico's technique, but once again, only train capoeira under professional supervision otherwise don't hold me responsible for your injuries.
